I respect your patience. Please go forward.

Every voice has its own emotions.

For your understanding, I have categorized voices according to pitch and style.

Basic Vocal Emotions and Acquired Vocal Emotions

Now you have to observe where your voice stands and its type.

There are two situations; I expressed “Situation ” because your voice tends to change according to the mood and a scenario.

Your voice tends to change if you talk to your boss; you’ll balance your tone throughout the conversation, right?

When you are talking to your friend, you will naturally speak fast.

Another example is when you are at home and have to speak to your wife. You’ll go Mute.

Jokes apart,

So, you have to observe your vocal tone while interacting with someone.

Now come to the satisfying part of the voices,

a) Basic Vocal Emotions

b) Acquired Vocal Emotions

Primary vocal or Basic emotion refers to a feeling that your voice has imbibed naturally and tends to change as you grow.

It’s a feature of your vocal tone or the emotional quality of your voice.

You can observe the basic emotions of your voice by focusing on the tone you have when you are talking to someone. Of course, someone has to record your voice for such practices.

Here we must naturally understand the quality of our voices or what kind of voice we have.

People have a soft voice; some have harshness, which is a natural tone of your voice.

You would have noticed that some singers have a humorous style that’s part of their personality; you will start laughing at them even if they speak a single sentence or word.

That’s the quality of their voices.

So, you should know how your voice tone behaves without putting much effort into your throat.

Acquired Vocal Emotions

These emotions will be acquired by self-training or with the help of a vocal coach.

It comes with regular voiceover practice, observation, and a deep sense of self-identification of your verbal pitch.

You should be excellent at understanding what kind of basic emotions you want to acquire; for example,

if your voice sounds naturally rude and you want to make it soft, you have to achieve softness in your tone; for some people,

it would be challenging to perform as they might go against their natural way of speaking.

That acquired tone may not sound like the conversational style of voiceovers.

But that’s how it happens in the voiceover business.

What kind of voiceover projects are suitable for my voice?

If your voice has a baritone texture

If your voice is Baritone or on a lower scale, you have many opportunities to get the following voiceover projects.

Now it’s time to make money. How to set an introductory rate for your voice?

Selling your voice is as simple as it sounds; however, the point that needs to be noted is,

what should be the correct price of your recorded voice?

For someone, It’s just reading from a paper and recording the script in front of the microphone, but this is a very hard-working job.

Now you being a voice over artist, I hope you have now understood the above explanation, right?

We are trying to indicate that new voice talents did not understand the actual value of their voice.

It is so precious that you have no idea how much you can earn money out of it, but many new voice talents are selling their voice at a low price.

In a video, voice is the first thing people notice that eventually converts into a lead, so you should understand the correct worth of your voice.

A polished, appealing, and naturally convincing voice helps you sell your client’s products. Therefore, You deserve a reasonable price for your skills.

Before quoting any prices, a professional voice over artist should grab all the requirements from the client,

You should ask the client few questions.
